“The Alkalol Company has a unique history — and that legacy inspires the unique products we create today. I’m proud to be the fourth generation of our small, family-owned and operated business, started by my great-grandfather in 1896 in Taunton, Massachusetts.
Alkalol Nasal Wash is a 129-year-old saline nasal wash and in fact, the only nasal saline rinse with a proprietary blend of natural extracts and essential oils. Alkalol provides invigorating relief from nasal congestion and sinus pressure caused by colds, flu, and allergies. Alkalol is a safe, fast-acting, drug-free and refreshingly-strong solution that leaves your sinuses feeling clean and revitalized.
My great grandfather created Alkalol Nasal Wash and now we have more products, including Alkalol Saline Nasal Spray and we collaborated with the nasal congestion giant Navage to create an Alkalol Salt Pod for their nose cleaner machine.

- Advice for other small business owners: For me, being organized is key – I like to keep accurate records, track cash flow, and budget wisely. Likewise, I like interacting with our customers – knowing and listening to their needs so our company can bring them really good, helpful products. That is my favorite part of the work. I also enjoy the creativity and flexibility of managing my own company.Setting clear boundaries is essential, as is working with people you trust, like, and enjoy collaborating with. Running a small business alone can quickly become demanding, overwhelming, and exhausting without the right support.
